“The Caustic Soda plant located at Yamaguchi in Japan is operating at 70-80 percent capacity due to weak demand”, a company official informed fibre2fashion.
“The plant has also recently undergone a maintenance turnaround and was shutdown between September 19 and end of October 2012”, he added.
The Caustic Soda plant has a production capacity of 490,000 tons per annum.
