A company official told fibre2fashion that the plant located at Himeji in Hyogo prefecture will undergo a biennial turnaround in May 2013 and will remain shutdown for a period of one month.

He further added that the acetic acid plant which has an annual capacity of 450,000 tons is currently operating at 100 percent capacity rates.
