LG Chem to shut aromatics plant for maintenance in October

LG Chem, Korea’s largest chemical firm, is planning to shut its aromatics plant for maintenance in October 2014.
 
“We are planning to shut our Yeosu, South Korea-based aromatics plant for maintenance from early-October to end of October 2014,” a company official informed fibre2fashion.
 
The aromatics plant has an annual capacity to produce 240,000 mt of benzene, 96,000 mt of toluene and 36,000 mt of solvent grade xylene.
