The Agreement also includes the mutual intention to join forces in the following areas:
•Creating joint hydrocarbon processing facilities, ethylene/polyethylene, propylene/polypropylene, methanol and liquefied gas production infrastructure inclusive.
•Expanding capacities for the use of liquefied & compressed gas as motor fuel and in the household sector,
•Implementing regional socioeconomic development plans and stepping up environmental recuperation measures.
•Said Agreement is a basis for promoting long-term cooperation between the companies and implementing joint win/win projects.
The Russian joint-stock company Gazprom was established in February 1993 in compliance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated 5 November 1992, and the Resolution of the Council of Ministers, the Government of the Russian Federation, dated February 17, 1993.
