According to the data from China Petroleum and Chemical Association, National total pigment output reached 361,629 tons in March 2007, a rise of 7.1 percent over the corresponding period last year.
In March, Zhejiang and Guangxi Province recorded biggest increase in pigment production. Zhejiang's yield read 38,897 tons, a boost of 58.2 percent over the same period last year and Guangxi's output marked 12,411 tons, a growth of 24.8 percent.
Hunan's output was also higher, reaching 12174 tons, an increase of 3.8 percent, Jiangsu produced 12,174 tons, but indicating a drop of 29.5 percent.
