Equate wins prize of His Highness the Amir for distinguished plants

Kuwait EQUATE Petrochemicals has been awarded with worthiness the prize of His Highness, the Amir of Kuwait as the best distinguished plant in the State for the year 2007 during a contest organized by the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) in a ceremony held on last Sunday 18/11/2007 in Hilton Hotel – Kuwait.
The event was under the patronage and presence of His Excellency, the Minister of Commerce & Industry Eng. Falah Fahed Al Hajiri and the presence of the Director of the Public Authority for Industry in addition to a large number of the Heads and Managers of companies and establishments participating in the contest.
Mr. Hamad Al-Terkait, EQUATE President & CEO has expressed his happiness winning such first prize as the best distinguished plant saying "It is not the first time for EQUATE, to be rewarded since our performances are progressing year by year. In this occasion its my pleasure to offer this success as a gift to all my co-workers in EQUATE whose efforts have made EQUATE the best company not only at the local level but at the Gulf and International levels, specially this prize was granted in particular under the patronage of His Highness, the Amir".
He added: "With the continuous support and on-going encouragement of the Company's Board of Directors which represent our distinguished shareholders, we have been able to accomplish all strategic goals set since the beginning of operation and till now".
This occasion comes simultaneously with the 10th Anniversary for the opening of EQUATE Plant & began production in November, 1997 by His Highness, the Late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Mercy be upon him.
