Defoin set to mark colourful future

In an effort to carve a niche in the international market and enhance the production value of the company, Defoin (BD) Ltd, located in Mirpur, Dhaka, has planned to set up a facility for performing high-end printing jobs on clothing.

The production capacity of the factory will be to print around 1.5 lakh pieces of apparels daily with several types of printings like plastisols, rubber, flock, glitter, discharge, foil, puff, photo and hi-density print.

The project will be named as Defoin Touch and is expected to start its operation by next year.

In recent years the garment sector in Bangladesh has experienced a huge development and the printing industry has provided immense support to it to reach this stage. According to statistics, at present more than 3000 printing units are operating in the country.

A company official divulged that international garment buyers like GAP, Wal-Mart are impressed with Defoin's printing and are likely to place orders.
