DAK Americas LLC, manufacturing polyester resin was caught up in deadly flames on the hot afternoon of May 1. As many as nine engines were called to control the blazes that were embracing the entire unit.

The investigation is still going on to know the reason behind such a mishap. However, company officials suggest that, the antifreeze might have leaked out from the machine that would have spilled over a hot pipe, causing fire.

No injury has been reported so far, the unit has put a halt on production process for few days till the machines get repaired.
