A delegation led by Mr Adrees, representing the chemical sector of Pakistan met the Federal Textile Minister, Rana Muhammad Farooq Saeed Khan and discussed the issues impeding the growth of the sector.
The delegation explained the role and the importance of the chemical industry in the development of the industrial sector of the country, especially in context to the services provided to the textile sector.
Mr Adrees expressed concerns regarding taxes, duties and other related matters, affecting the sector and said that the chemical industry requires government's special attention for its wholesome growth.
The Minister assured the delegation of full cooperation from the government and promised to look in to all issues affecting the industry.
