According to the definitions in the Act, PFAS means a family of fluorinated organic chemicals with at least one fully fluorinated carbon atom and children’s products are products primarily designed or intended to be used by or for a child under 12 years of age. Residential textiles refer to textile products designed for residential use as a covering on windows or walls.
The restrictions will be implemented by the state of Nevada in phases, starting January 1, 2022.
