Necessitated by rising raw material and energy costs, German specialty chemicals producer Wacker is increasing prices of silicone polymers, silicone fluids and silicones from April 1, 2017. Subject to existing customer contracts, the company is increasing prices in the range of 10 and 20 per cent, depending on product family, region and business field.
According to Wacker, these price increases will enable the Wacker Silicones business division to continue to provide quality products and services along with high delivery reliability. (AR)
