AATCC to conduct workshop on moisture management

The two-day workshop will include presentations from AATCC staff and industry experts. Visitors can also get hands-on experience of equipment for moisture management testing at the venue.

Some of the topics that will be covered at the event include absorbency of textiles, vertical wicking of textiles, horizontal wicking of textiles, liquid moisture management properties of textile fabrics, drying time of textiles: moisture analyzer method, drying rate of textiles at their absorbent capacity: air flow method and understanding waterproof breathables among others.

AATCC provides test method development, quality control materials, and professional networking for members in about 50 countries throughout the world. (KD)
