Lanka Exhibition & Conference Services (LECS) together with the Sri Lanka Apparel Institute (SLAI) is organising the exhibition. The event would be endorsed and supported by the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF).
The exhibition aims to focus on the wide range of textile machinery, accessories and services from many parts of the world and targets to bring all suppliers and service organisations in the industry under one roof.
The exhibiting companies will be from fabric and yarn, model and cutting preparation, cutting room, fusing, stitching, joining and fastening technology, material flow, quality control, product processing, distribution logistics, energy and air-conditioning, information media and support services like insurance companies and banks, freight forwarders, courier companies and shipping companies.
AISEX 2016 intends to sharpen the manufacturers hunger for technological innovations in the apparel industry by providing the garment industry with the complete solutions necessary to forge ahead. The exhibition determines to generate new opportunities closer to home, within the South Asian region since there is an opportunity for local brands to target regional markets, like India. (NA)
