Brazilian companies receive good response at Paris

Nine Brazilian companies which participated in the Premiere Vision Paris exhibition last month received a good response at the show, according to Texbrasil's report.

The companies—Britannia, Berlan, Cataguases, Elaia, La Estampa, Moltec, Natural Cotton Color, Oficina Lamparina and Savyon—exhibited as part of Texbrasil, the internationalisation programme of the Brazilian fashion developed by ABIT in partnership with Apex-Brazil (Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion).

These companies made 688 contacts at the expo and generated $276,000 in business during the show. They expect to get business orders worth over $1 million in the next 12 months.

Premiere Vision Paris, one of the largest fashion shows in the world in the textile segment, witnessed the participation of around 1,720 exhibitors, including spinners, weavers, accessory makers, design studios, tanners and garment manufacturers. The exhibition introduced the top trends in fabrics for apparel and the latest in technology.

The event was focused on business and spreading new information in the world of fashion, and brands from around the world came to show their products. The show welcomed more than 60,000 visitors of fashion professionals from around 120 countries to do business, find international partners and participate in workshops and debates. (NA)
