JIAM 2020 OSAKA to combine craftsmanship with technology

The Japan Sewing Machinery Manufacturers Association (JASMA) will hold the International Apparel Equipment & Textile Industry Trade Show (JIAM 2020 OSAKA) from May 20, 2020, in Japan. On the theme, Collaboration of Next Generation Technologies and Craftsmanship – the event will utilise IoT, big data and population intelligence to digitise society.

This is an international trade fair which will provide a global business platform. The show will introduce innovative solutions by combining existing high-level skillsets that have been created through drastic market change and present the latest technologies from a range of industry sectors.

The four-day exhibition will be a global platform for solving the problems required for this era of evolution, and from the fusion and cooperation of the craftsmanship technology that has undergone transformation and responding to various changes, and the future technology supporting the future, JASMA said in its website.

JIAM 2020 OSAKA will be a new added value by fusing and collaborating the latest technology to the craftsmen's technology which has worked on problem solving and kaizen activities at the global sewing site in response to changes and circumstances of the times.
