Four finalists for Fashion Icon Award

Organiser's of Scotland's most high profile celebration of fashion and style have announced the final 4 nominees for the event's 'Scottish Fashion Icon' award, which will be presented at the 6th annual Scottish Fashion Awards in association with Vogue.

The 'Fashion Icon' award sponsored by Capital FM is the only category at the prestigious awards ceremony that can be voted for by the general public. Over the past few weeks the public have been logging on and voting in their thousands. Originally 10 celebrities, the list has now been whittled down to a fabulous four who will fight it out to be crowned Scottish Fashion Icon 2011.

2011 Fashion Icon final 4 are:
Gerard Butler (Actor)
Freya Mavor (Actress - star of Channel 4 'Skin's' and face of Pringle of Scotland)
Laura McMonagle (Actress / Singer)
Karen Gillan (Actress - Dr Who)

"Superstar Gerard Butler's rugged good looks & box office appeal always makes him a highly popular choice", said Tessa Hartmann, founder and Chairman of the awards. "But will he be able to stand up against 3 fabulous fashionable faces - I'm not so sure."

It's now over to Capital FM listeners and the people across Scotland to cast their final vote by voting online at the official website.

The Oscars of Scottish Fashion' is now a firm fixture in the international fashion calendar with a black tie extravaganza at the Glasgow Science Centre on 15th June 2011. Attended by global fashion figures, designers and industry leaders, Caledonista's will celebrate the 6th annual event with glamour and glitz, joining Swarovski's 'Official Red Carpet Event Calendar', which includes the Oscars, Golden Globes and Cannes Film Festival.
