Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival – Brisbane, hosted by South Bank, is back for 2011 and promises a stellar lineup of designers and a range of fashionable events to satisfy even the most sartorially starved crowds. It will run from August 20-26.
While most local designers use the Fashion Festival to launch their new season collections to the media and public, often some of the National labels have already shown their collections before arriving here in Brisbane.
We're excited to announce that Akira Isogawa, Scanlan & Theodore and Easton Pearson have all confirmed they will be unveiling new collections at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane which have yet to be seen by any media or public to date. That means if you're a ticket holder for Saturday 20th August you're in for a real treat and one of the first in the country to see first hand these amazing collections. All three designers will be showing either their Cruise or Spring/Summer 2011/12 collections for the first time this year.
And in addition, Easton Pearson will also be presenting their second label, EP by Easton Pearson, at the Fashion Festival and it will be shown on a catwalk for the very first time. EP by Easton Pearson is a young, bold, commercial line described by designers Lydia Pearson and Pamela Easton as "a true diffusion line, capturing the best of Easton Pearson for a younger, aspirational market".
Akira Isogawa, Scanlan & Theodore and Easton Pearson will be showing at the Virgin Australia Group Show at 5pm and EP by Easton Pearson will showing at the Foreshore Hamilton by Mirvac Group Show at 7pm, on Saturday 20th August.
