After a successful appearance at the WWDMAGIC fashion trade show in Las Vegas last week, Obscene Jeans will capitalize on its momentum by participating in another main event--SRQ Fashion Week. The six-day event is expected to attract fashion designers, distributors and retailers from all over the globe.
SRQ kicks off Sept. 23 in Sarasota, Fla., with a fashion show audition party and runway walk. OBJE will showcase its bold, luxurious jeans and accessories to key players in the luxury lifestyle brand industry. The event's highlights include the Google Fashion Show, where high-energy fashions will be showcased alongside cutting-edge technology, and the Cabana Fashion Show, featuring high-end apparel inspired by Miami's South Beach.
“We're very excited about attending SRQ, especially after the success we had in Las Vegas at the WWDMAGIC show,” said OBJE Lead Designer Rachel Stark-Cappelli. “The fearless designs of our jeans reflect the company's mission: We want people to know that we're about breaking away from the status quo. OBJE CEO Robert Federowicz and Stark-Cappelli will also be showcasing OBJE's new, sophisticated collection of embellished tees.
“As a designer, I really want to make sure our jeans, tops, and accessories are made with the best material out there,” said Stark-Cappelli. “We really wanted to bring out the true beauty of these fabrics by pairing them with different materials and experimenting with different washes. We expect them to be a huge hit at SRQ.”
Stark-Cappelli will be providing up-to-the-minute social media coverage of the event on OBJE's Twitter page. Photos and videos from the trade show will also be available on the Obscene Jeans' Facebook and YouTube pages.
