Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) presents Couture Hawai'i Runway Fashion Show on September 3.
The runway fashion show in conjunction with the exhibit, “Hawaii's Alfred Shaheen: Fabric to Fashion.” Couture Hawai'i features the latest collections of aloha wear and couture fashions from well-known Hawai'i designers: Anne Namba from O'ahu, Maggie Coulombe from Maui and Bernard Foong of Wailea in addition to vintage Alfred Shaheen apparel.
The University of Hawai'i – Maui College's Couture Club student collection will also be shown. Hosted by Andy South, Season 8 Finalist on TV's "Project Runway." Pre-show activities include browsing and shopping for fashion accessories made in Hawai'i as well as catered appetizers, cocktails and music by DJ CIA. Stay for the after-party in the courtyard until 10 pm.199.
