DITF-2005 proves profitable for Pakistan

The exhibitors at Pakistan pavilion, put up at the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF-2005) have reported the successful signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with the visitor companies.

DITF would help for better trade and economic cooperation with participating countries, said Tariq Saeed, former President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Monday.

He said the DITF exhibition was put up annually by Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh.

Mr Saeed said that all four pavilions put a variety of textile and garments, leather products, sports goods, surgical items, light manufacturing, spices, ceramics, sanitary ware and tiles.

DITF-2005 helped to improve bilateral trade relation between Pakistan and Bangladesh and high lighted Pakistan's products, he said.
