This year’s non-profit event will be held at Villa Southside, located at 1831 East Carson Street in Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday, July 28, 2012. Cocktail party starts at 8:00pm, with the fashion show starting promptly at 10:00pm. Guests must be at least 21 to attend.
Expect a night of fun, glamour, and local celebrities at the hot pink themed "Pink Party with a Purpose" charity event this year. Pittsburgh's 50 Finest Alumni Frank Murgia with be guest host.
In addition to a high energy fashion show, this year’s event will include a pre-show cocktail party, hors d'oeuvres, decadent desserts, and raffle prize giveaways. Over twenty-five models will grace the runway, showing the latest in hot pink evening gowns, clubwear and costumes from Kamala Collection, Glamour House, J. Valentine, and Roma Costume.
“After my father passed away at age 56 from a massive heart attack, I realized just how pervasive heart disease is,” says Michele Garris of Chelsea's of New York. “I’m taking action by promoting awareness through our events for this important cause.”
