Nisei Week Foundation will organize Nisei Week 2006 in July 2006. Nisei Week is coming in summer 2006. The fashion show will start on July 10, 2006.
It is the annual festival in Little Tokyo.
Nisei Week is bringing back an old favorite event, the Nisei Week Fashion Show! Though it has been a number of years since Nisei Week hit the runway, the Fashion Show will soon be here again to intensify the excitement in the months leading up to next year's 2006 Nisei Week Festival.
The day's event will trait fashion from both leading and up and coming Asian American designers, Little Tokyo businesses, and Asian inspired apparel lines.
In addition to being a fun day of trends and styles, the fashion show is also a call to all past Nisei Week court members! Come model with your fellow alumnae and be appreciated for all that you have added to Nisei Week from your reigning year till now as we celebrate the long lineage of amazing woman who have graced the pages of Nisei Week booklets through out the festival's history.
First general chairman of Nisei Week was Clarence Arima, his co-chairman was Kay Sugahara.
