American fashion designer Marc Jacobs showcased his awe-inspiring, sexy, yet straightforward and simplistic Spring 2013 collection at the ongoing glamorous fashion event New York Fashion Week.

The 45 piece collection was dominated by hypnotizing stripes and various patterns in monochromatic shades like black and white with an occasional dash of burgundy.

The range featured a variety of apparels with thick deckchair stripes, giraffe and leopard prints and cute cartoon faces.

The unique collection includes striped lab coats, boxy dresses, smart calf-length skirt suits, cropped sweaters, A-line pleated skirts, well-cut T-shirts and sexy minidresses.

The line offered a vivid array of ensembles in leather and sequins seasoned with ruffles and futuristic swirl patterns.

The 49-year-old designer owns a diffusion line label, ‘Marc by Marc Jacobs’, which operates more than 200 retail stores in around 80 countries. He had appeared on Time Magazine's ‘2010 Time 100’ list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
