The world’s renowned Italian fashion designer, Miuccia Prada, showcased her Spring/Summer 2013 collection on the second day of the ongoing Milan Fashion Week.

The prolific designer’s Japan-inspired apparel line highlights graphic flower motifs with a prominent bright red centre.

The collection includes skinny satin skirts, Origami folded satin tops, kimono wraps, tunic dresses, cycling shorts, boxy fur coats and Geisha style metallic zip-up socks.

The imperial fashioned clothing range features a subtle colour palette with hues like sugary almond brown, soft pink, sage, white, black and grey.

The 63-year-old designer Miuccia Prada owns two high-end fashion labels- ‘Prada’ and ‘Miu Miu’. The two labels specialize in luxury ready-to-wear clothing as well as accessories for men and women.

The semi-annual sartorial event Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 runs from September 20th to 27th.
