The Italian luxury fashion brand ‘Fendi’ showcased its Spring/Summer 2013 collection at the ongoing semi-annual sartorial extravaganza Milan Fashion Week.

Created by the brand’s Artistic Director ‘Karl Lagerfield’ and the Head of Accessories ‘Silvia Venturini Fendi,’ the line was heavy on furs and leathers layered and inset together to create a 3D effect.

The textured ensembles, seasoned with angular cuts, were decorated with geometric patterns in various pastel and earthy shades like blue, ivory, mustard yellow and brown.

The collection includes tunics, two-toned dresses, shirts, slim leather trousers and an Audrey Hepburn-style coat.

Founded in 1925, Fendi is a multinational brand that specializes in a range of luxury goods. The label is owned by the French multinational apparels and accessories firm LVMH, also known as ‘Moët Hennessy • Louis Vuitton S.A.’

The designer Karl Lagerfield is a German fashion designer, artist and photographer based in Paris. He is the head designer and creative director at the luxury fashion house Chanel.

Silvia Venturini Fendi, the granddaughter of the legendary Fendi label founders Edoardo and Adele Fendi, is known for her creative expertise in leather and other luxury goods.
