The second day of the ongoing sartorial extravaganza ‘Paris Fashion Week’ showcased a range of apparel collections that highlighted a playfully blurring version of masculine and feminine genders.

Belgian fashion designer Dries Van Noten featured ensembles seasoned with a harmonious mix of traditional menswear cuts and his signature feminine floral prints in eclectic shades of faded orange, peach, rose, nude, russet, silver and duck egg blue. The Antwerp-based designer presented ruffled 3-D flower appliqués, beaded denims, sheer organza shirts, metallic menswear jackets and oversized peplums.

Croatian-born designer Damir Doma featured an Oriental-inspired collection that includes kimono-sleeve jackets and white-belted karate tops in colours like black, brown, turquoise blue and cobalt.

Gareth Pugh’s creations sported a Latin American feel along with a combination of softer, elegant and more mature looks. The line showcased nappa kimonos and two-feet-long veils in sweeping vermilion, black fringing and pale dove grey hues.

French fashion label Guy Laroche presented an architectural pattern-inspired collection created by fashion designer Marcel Morongiu. The apparel range featured sculptural lines and volumes to embrace the slender female structure with long silhouettes sneaked by stiffly flapped panels and angular cuts.
