The fifth day of the semi-annual fashion event ‘Paris Fashion week’ saw the enthusiastic sporty after-effects of the recently concluded London Olympics.

Japanese fashion designer Junya Watanabe, in collaboration with the sportswear giant ‘Puma’, presented a collection of bright and energetic athletic wear.

The sportswear line includes sculpted tech-mesh jackets, running tops, leggings, fine nylon skirts and voluminous draped synthetic football shirts in eye-catching hues like fluorescent orange, acidic yellow, punchy blue and searing red.

Vanessa Bruno, the Parisian clothing designer, offered a bohemian-inspired collection. The line features tapered leather pants, bright red blazers, baggy silk blouses, structured frock coats, light cotton dresses, embroidered rolled-up denims and cropped jackets with Nehru collars.

Another Japanese designer, Issey Miyake, known for his technology-driven clothing designs, presented a cheerful collection inspired by the sunny sea-side look. The range includes ankle-revealing wide leg trousers, oversized linen marinières, baggy straight-cut robes, knee-length skirts with flared hemlines and colourful ponchos.
