The awe-inspiring episode of the ongoing glitzy fashion fest ‘Seoul Fashion Week’, held at the War Memorial of Korea, highlighted not only the burgeoning fashion industry of the country but also the history of its national defence.

The show kicked off with a catwalk presentation by the internationally renowned designer Lee Ju-Young.

The fashion designer showcased the latest edition of her hallmark Resurrection collection, inspired by the popular music genre of rock and roll.

The innovative menswear line’s leathery ensembles portrayed a soft military look, topped with flowy transparent fabrics and camouflage patterns.

The avant-garde creations by the famous Korean designer Lee Ju-Young are being favoured by the likes of Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and Marilyn Manson.

Founded in 1994, the War Memorial of Korea is a unique war history museum that features nearly 13,000 war memorabilia and military equipment of the Korean peninsula. Located in Seoul, the monumental building has six indoor exhibition rooms and an outdoor exhibition centre.
