The delightfully glamorous first-ever edition of the Namibia Fashion Show was a parade of exquisitely creative apparels and other fashion accessories presented by a series of seasoned and upcoming designing talents.

The event saw a blend of ethnic and fashion forward garment collections designed by an eclectic mix of international and local designers.

The 19-year-old young Namibian designer McBright Kavari showcased his colourful traditional clothing range at the fashion event. The ensembles of the exclusive collection were a combination of elegantly conventional and modern garments.

Fashion designing student Nikola Conradie experimented with a 1930-based theme, focusing majorly on a formal look with a heavy usage of transparent fabrics.

Angolan designer Allex Kangala featured a range of sophisticated well-tailored suits for men.

Other international names that showcased in the event were renowned South Africa-based designers David Tlale and Suzaan Heyns, as well as Martial Tapolo from France.
