Filipino models break 'most people on a catwalk' record

A one of its kind fashion show that saw more than 2,225 models walking the ramp in Philippines has bagged the coveted Guinness World Record approved title ‘Most people walking on a catwalk’.
 
Held at Makati City’s Glorietta Mall, the show named Move to the Vibe of Glorietta was organized to put Philippines high on the world’s fashion map.
 
The event witnessed women between the ages of 18 and 45 strutting down the runway wearing latest fashion collections created by local brands like Bayo, Plains & Prints, Bench, Gibi, Freeway and Maldita.
 
Glorietta Mall is owned by the Ayala Corporation, which is one of the largest Philippines-based business houses that has diversified business interests in various sectors, including shopping and retail, hotels and resorts, as well as residential properties.
 
The 55-year-old international organization Guinness World Records is the ultimate authority on record-breaking achievements. It provides information about superlative facts and accomplishments.
