Drawing inspiration from India’s traditional fabrics and designs, three well-known fashion designers from the country held a fashion show alongside 15-day long event ‘Master Creation 2012’ being held in New Delhi.

Designers Abraham and Thakore, Payal Jain and Samanth Chauhan presented their designs at the ‘Incredible Handicraft’ fashion show organized by the Ministry of Textiles.

Master Creation 2012 aims to bring together handlooms and handicrafts from all over the country at one place. Its objective is to promote weavers, artisans and their crafts.

The event would increase the popularity of Indian artists not only in the country but even across the globe, Mr. SS Gupta, Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, said at the beginning of the fashion show, The Hindu Business Line reported.
