As the only fashion city in the world, the three fashion fairs CIFF, Gallery and Vision introduce a partnership for free admission tickets and transport in Copenhagen, in connection with the upcoming Fashion Week January 30th. - February 3rd. 2013.

The new partnership entails free access for industry professionals to the three fairs, as well as free transport by subway, and free shuttle-service to and from the exhibition locations. A unique level of service will be on offer, contributing to the making of Copenhagen as a unique destination city for international trade fairs.

"The partnership will make it free, fast and easy to be a buyer at the fairs in Copenhagen. This will no doubt encourage more people to stay longer and visit more fairs", says Exhibition Director for the Gallery fair in Forum, Christian Gregersen.

Free access to the fairs will apply to all industry professionals, when they pre-register for one of the three fairs before the commencement of Fashion Week in Copenhagen. The admission ticket to one exhibition provides automatic free access to the other two exhibitions.

Upon arrival in Copenhagen, all pre-registered trade visitors can travel via subway for free, and Swedish guests with tickets to the Gallery fair can take the return train free of charge. After visiting an exhibition, it is entirely free for trade fair guests to use the direct shuttle transport to the remaining two exhibition locations in Copenhagen.

"We provide transport in environmentally-friendly cars when travelling between the three fairs. This sends a positive and very Danish signal. It is also important for both the buyers and the fairs, that the city works and is linked together in a way that makes it as easy and accessible as possible for fair guests", says Natasha Skou, PR and Marketing Manager for Vision, which is located in locomotive workshop "Lokomotivværkstedet" in Copenhagen.

"We still compete of course, for both exhibitors and to attract guests to the fair. It helps to keep us sharp and current. But otherwise, it comes down to creating a logistics plan that works, so that it’s easy to be both a guest and an exhibitor in Copenhagen", says Kristian W. Andersen, Fashion and Design Director for the Bella Center.

The Industry Organization Supports

The initiative for the partnership in logistics is supported and funded by the trade organization Dansk Fashion & Textile.

"We of course support the initiative, which makes it easier to be a buyer and thus strengthens Copenhagen as a unique fashion city. The development will also spread to the Danish fashion industry, and therefore benefit one of the country’s largest export industries", says As Øland, Creative Director of Dansk Fashion and Textile.
