70 sustainable labels display at Ethical Fashion Show

The Ethical Fashion Show Berlin started in its third round!

A total number of 70 sustainable streetwear and casualwear labels present their autumn/winter 2013/14 collections in two exhibition halls to trade visitors.

As usual the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin is accompanied by a wide complementary programme. 

A networking party of the green fashion scene has been hosted on 16 January, starting at 6:00 pm at the GreenLounge at Umspannwerk Kreuzberg, Ohlauer Str.43.

Knowledge Lounge, 15 to 17 January, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (Thursday to 6:00 pm), Hall C

Trade visitors will once again have the opportunity to engage with experts from outstanding initiatives, NGOs, working groups and associations in the Knowledge Lounge. This includes GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), IVN (International Association of the Natural Textiles Industry), the Fairwear Foundation and get changed! – The Fair Fashion Network.

Knowledge Lounge talk programme, 16 January, Hall C

For the first time, the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin will feature an extensive programme of talks in the Knowledge Lounge in January 2013. Representatives of GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), IVN (International Association of the Natural Textiles Industry), get changed! – The Fair Fashion Network and ECCHR (European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights) will report and hold discussions on riveting topics relating to green fashion.

GreenLounge, 16 January starting at 2:00 pm, Umspannwerk Kreuzberg

On 16 January, INNATEX, the GREENshowroom and the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin will open the doors to the GreenLounge at Umspannwerk Kreuzberg, a historic event location at the heart of Berlin, starting at 2:00 pm. The green fashion event will offer trade visitors and press representatives an opportunity to see presentations on Messe Frankfurt's two trade fairs as well as on INNATEX – international trade fair for sustainable textiles in Hofheim-Wallau (26 - 28 January 2013). Starting at 6:00 pm there will be a networking party for invited guests, organized by MUVEO GmbH and Messe Frankfurt.

Create Green Breakfast, 17 January, 11:00 am, Hall C

The last day of the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin will once again see the popular Create Green Breakfast take place, which will take a close look at the topic of recycling this season. Special guest: Pailak Mzikian, Deputy CEO of I:CO. Create Green Breakfast is organised in collaboration with Create Berlin, the network of Berlin's creative industry.
