Peru’s ambassador to China, Gustavo Gutiérrez said the show formed a part of the activities of the Consulate General of Peru in China, Macao and Hong Kong.

The event extended a platform for promotion of "Peru Moda 2013", the 16th edition of Peru's International Exhibition of Clothing Industry, slated to be held in the city of Lima from April 10-12, he said.

The expo would showcase the best that Peru has to offer in exportable clothing, and this makes it the best platform for developing business links with leading importing companies from across the world.
