The recently concluded JFW International Fashion Fair (JFW-IFF), Japan’s largest apparel and accessories trade show, saw a spell-binding display of several innovative apparel designs featured by nearly 750 firms from over 20 countries.

Held at the nation’s capital Tokyo, the three-day-long event presented a mesmerising parade of vintage creations and sailor-inspired styles topped with avant-garde industrial, ethnic and environment-friendly ensembles.

Organized by the country’s famous publishing company Senken Shimbun Co., Ltd., the event also featured sophisticated European designs replete with frills or fine fabrics accompanied by fancy hats and berets.

Visited by more than 25,000 domestic and foreign buyers, the fair also showcased myriad garments based on dry leaves and forest colours.

Other than the vast display of women’s and men’s wear as well as fashion accessories, the event also featured new brands at its Creators' Village segment.
