The recently concluded fourth edition of Karachi Fashion Week (KFW) featured an array of beautiful clothing lines and fashion accessories from some of the most well-known as well as emerging talents of Pakistan’s fashion industry.

Prolific designer duo Nusrat and Haris showcased a practical collection made of sheer and shimmery fabrics. Based on a bold palette of red, purple and black, the heavy on animal print range was accentuated with sequined or illusionary necklines.

Pakistani sartorialist Vasim Asghar presented a Moulin Rouge-inspired line in eye-catching hues. The minimally embellished collection included sheer or striped stockings, loose billowing outfits, v- neck short sequined dresses and multi-tier long shirts.

Clothing label Eden Robe featured both menswear and children’s wear pieces in their show. The brand’s collection for tiny tots included brightly coloured smart formal jackets with waistcoats and shalwar kurtas. The men’s collection showcased velvet pyjamas, jamawar sherwanis, Kashmiri embroidered kurtas and Chinese collar and rough-cut jackets.

Other than Pakistani designers, the three-day-long fashion extravaganza also witnessed exclusive catwalk presentations by Nigerian, Indian, American and Malaysian designers.

Apart from the 25 spectacular runway shows, KFW also had an exhibition area which featured stalls from some of the most popular labels like Brands Just Pret, Gul Ahmed, Borjan and Karma.

The event was presented by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and organised by Triple-E Events.
