Damascus Chamber of Industry stated that more than 240 Syrian textile companies are to take part in Motex exhibition in February during 16-19, said Haitham Halabi, a member of the Chmaber.
Halabi informed the local media that along with companies from France, England, Russia and Iran, around 15 European companies and 15 boards are to participate and to brief on the Syrian textile production.
This exhibition will stand as challenge to Syrian textile manufacturers if import of ready made clothes is allowed to support the national industry in general and clothes industry in particular, indicated Immad Ghrewati Chairman of Damascus Chamber of Industry.
