Christian Siriano, the glorious Project Runway winner, painted a magnificent scene straight out of an opulent Russian opera house to demonstrate his latest Fall/Winter 2013 collection at the ongoing Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.

A combination of day and evening wear, the vintage line showcased a range of leather, faux fur, rich jacquard and brocade ensembles in sleek silhouettes fit for the fashionable red carpet queens.

Based on a vivid colour palette of white, black, camel, gold and hot pink, the collection included turtleneck separates, loose leather trousers, furry vests, buttoned-up shirts, motorcycle jackets, full skirts, skinny Capri pants, strapless peplum tops and curve hugging cocktail dresses with fluted hems.

The 26-year-old American designer Siriano started his eponymous label in the year 2010 after winning the fourth season of fashion-based American reality show Project Runway.
