Vivienne Westwood, the veteran English fashion designer and activist has once again publicly showed her support for the disgraced WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Julian Assange by appearing in a self-designed T-shirt, printed with the slogan ‘I’m Julian Assange’, at her catwalk presentation on the third day of London Fashion Week.

Emblazoned with a giant image of her face on the T-shirt, Westwood was seen at her Red Label showcase, which featured a range of beautifully tailored curve highlighting Autumn/Winter 2013 creations, at LFW.

The designer, who has been credited largely for bringing modern punk and new wave fashion into the mainstream, featured flowing skirts, simple knitwear and waist and hips accentuating jackets as well as blazers in a warm palette of plum, teal and metallic.

In 2012, the 71-year-old designer had created a series of radical unisex T-shirts to support Australia-born Assange, the founder of the whistle-blowing controversial website WikiLeaks, which has enraged many governments and political figures worldwide by publishing secret information, news leaks and several other classified documents.
