A prominent hint of masculine style tailoring was seen on all the ensembles showcased at Italian fashion mogul Giorgio Armani’s catwalk on the penultimate day of Milan Fashion Week.

Titled as Garçonne, the boy meets girl clothing line featured black trousers with added detailing on pockets, long tight fit gowns, backless dresses with wing decorated necklines and silver fringed evening gloves.

Designer duo Federico Piaggi and Stefano Citron, for the clothing label Gianfranco Ferré, presented a bold yet demurely feminine collection for the next season, focusing on a very structured and restrained look.

Based on a sophisticated palette of black, cream white and chocolate brown, the outfits of the range, mainly the wide sleeve tailored shirts, featured prominent shoulders and waists cinched with wide belts.

Other than Armani and Ferré, the penultimate day also featured a range of exquisite autumn-winter collections from John Richmond, Massimo Rebecchi, Lorenzo Riva and Cristiano Burani.
