IDT students worked on two amazing themes- one was Jazzy Bay in which they took colorful sheer fabrics for designing colorful beach wear costumes, enhanced with crafts, leaves , flowers, draped couls, hangings, gathers skirts, short handkerchief skirts & also highlighted them with beautiful unique props.
The other one was Secret Glamour in which they designed white transparent tissue gowns, enhanced with pure white satin, crochet flowers, potlis, drapes, pleated jackets, and corsets with flowy-fall on stage.
The sequences which the students designed were out of the world. Hats off to the students- Nidhi Jain, Sonal Gangwani, Himani Chugh, Jasmina Kapadia, Poonam Jain, Neha Kochar, Vaishali Patel & Khushbu Bhojani; & the faculties as well- Mrs. Pooja Gheewala & Ms. Meghna Jariwala.
A collective spirit of revelry seemed to possess one and all, the melodious music rendered the air and a jolly mood overwhelmed all other senses. There were also live musical performances along with international dances & carnival fest which we celebrated.
The entire venue was decorated will huge installations at major junctions and the promenades were decorated with masks and graffiti.
