iDFW 2013 features an international line up, including iD guests UK-based celebrity milliner, Stephen Jones, New Zealand luxury women’s designer Yvonne Bennetti, and a catalogue of New Zealand fashion icons, including NOM*d, Tanya Carlson, Mild-Red, Charmaine Reveley, Tamsin Cooper, DADA Vintage, Company of Strangers, MisteR, and more.
Di Lusso iD Designer Sale (sponsored by Dunedin’s Di Lusso Bar) included the all-new Di Lusso Pamper Lounge where attendees were pampered for free by the Redken hair and Revlon makeup teams from Aart on St Andrew and Ali Mcd Makeup School after picking up bargains from the designer labels on offer, including NOM*d, Charmaine Reveley, Jane Sutherland, Suture, Phizacklea, Emily Kerse and Claire Bloom, alongside exclusive fashion stores Plume, DADA Boutique, Waughs and Arthur Barnett. New to the sale this year was jewellery designer Debra Fallowfield, online store and fashion label Gemma.

“The week just keeps getting better, with an incredible offering of associated events, including fashionable breakfasts, hat and hair art workshops, film and theatre, exhibitions and runway shows.”
The iD Dunedin Fashion Week Hub at Dunedin’s Golden Centre Mall will host a range of activities from guest and designer appearances, including Stephen Jones on Thursday at 3pm, spot prizes, and the impressive catwalk show on Wednesday night, ‘Black Tie from the Darnell Collection’, with iD 2011 guest Charlotte Smith, alongside modern designer fashions from premier retailers STORM, Hype and I Love Paris, and New Zealand’s leading menswear bespoke tailor and designer RJB Design.
Hotel St Clair, the major accommodation sponsor of iD Dunedin Fashion Week, will host the Designer Breakfast Series from Tuesday March 12 to March 15 – four days of breakfasts, with presentations from unique Dunedin fashion identities, including iD label, UNDONE.
Exhibitions include ‘Home Sewn’, a touring exhibition from the New Zealand Fashion Museum, held at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery, fine art exhibition ‘Fashion-Show’ at the Inge Doesburg Gallery and Studio on Castle St, a New Zealand Light Leathers fashion colours world premiere and the New Zealand Hat and Hair Art ‘Retrospective’ exhibition, celebrating a decade of ingenious originality in hat and hair art, held at Dunedin’s Temple Gallery.
This year’s iD Dunedin Fashion Shows on the 120m catwalk at Dunedin Railway Station feature an incredible retrospective collection by international guest, UK milliner Stephen Jones. To celebrate his 33 years of business, models will be wearing 33 Stephen Jones’ hats and will be dressed in much-loved Dunedin labels NOM*d or Carlson.
