TFI Press & Buyers Brunch announces designer' lineup

Renowned designers and new emerging talent join World MasterCard Fashion Week (WMCFW) at the TFI Press & Buyers Brunch. The Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) has announced the designers participating in this season's event which will take place onsite at WMCFW on March 20th and March 21st from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

TFI worked with a panel of judges to review dozens of designer applications to select the top brands that will show at the TFI Press & Buyers Brunch. Applicants submitted press kits that were judged on trendiness, newsworthiness, cohesiveness within the collection, cohesive branding, overall press kit presentation, and marketability.

"The TFI is thrilled to be working with IMG to create this opportunity for Canadian designers to show their collections at World MasterCard Fashion Week," said Susan Langdon, TFI's executive director.

"This year's line-up of designers will introduce a wide range of apparel and accessories to national and international buyers, media, and industry VIPs. It is our pleasure to play host to this event every season and our privilege to discover fantastic homegrown talent."

The roster of participating designers includes renowned Canadian apparel labels DUY, Sid Neigum, and Triarchy, who are no strangers to fashion week, and introduces innovative brands: Benjamin Daedfshye (footwear), Blackbird (jewellery), Criopia Design (jewellery), Dutch Blonde (leggings), Elizabeth Tan (Jewellery), Espiritu Folk (womenswear), Heather Campbell Textiles (accessories), Inna (womenswear), Killigrew (menswear), Little White Dress (womenswear), Miik (womenswear), Moose&Beaver (womenswear), Quill & Tine (gloves), Rachel Sin (womenswear), Studio1098 (jewellery), and WILD WORKS (millinery).
