Dutch fashion designer Conny Groenewegen opened the week long Japanese bi-annual sartorial soiree Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo (MBFWT) with her latest women’s Autumn/Winter 2013-14 collection.

Known for her innovative knitwear creations, the designer presented off-shouldered dresses, tight fitting short skirts and jumpsuits based on a basic colour palette of black and white with occasional splashes of red and orange.

Clothing label Ariunna Suri, by Mongolia born and Germany-based designer Ariunaa Surenjav, showcased a brightly coloured wintery line which included pencil skirts, tights, long sleeve tops and cropped jackets.

Masanori Morikawa, from the fashion brand Christian Dada, featured his fall 2013-14 ensembles for men on the second day of MBFWT. The line included white polos, black jackets, printed shorts and ankle cropped pants.

Dressedundressed, owned by designer duo Takeshi Kitazawa and Emiko Sato, featured belted black jackets, sheer shirts, bright orange roomy trousers and overcoats at the event.
