Award-winning fashion designer Laura Siegel opened the second day of Canadian sartorial extravaganza World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto with her India-inspired collection.

Infused with a generous dosage of rich tie-dye prints and bold natural colours, the line featured printed tunics, drop-crotch pants, wrapped multi-layered dresses, waist-tied roomy coats and high cowl neck tops.

Menswear label Klaxon Howl, by designer Matt Robinson, once again showcased an essentially practical cloning line fit for the hard working cowboys and farmers.  Accentuated with long lasting stitching, strong fastening and heavy fabrics, the fall-2013 collection included leather jackets, camouflage pants, hunter vests, cuffed jeans and twill riding pants.

Canadian born designer David Dixon presented a sharply edited collection for the contemporary modern women. Enriched with strong silhouettes and clean cuts, the ensembles of the range include layered black lace tops, white hounds tooth skinny trousers and dresses embellished with wisps of fabric twirls or feather shaped rigid collars.

Line Knitwear, owned by John Muscat and Jennifer Wells, showcased a strong and edgy collection titled Urban Opulence. The range featured oversized sweaters, swaggering capes, black leather jackets with motocross seams and asymmetrical perforated leather tops.
