In addition to previously announced collections Red Doll and Kal Rieman, Tuesday night will also feature headliner Nonoo, presented by Gus Mayer, a beautifully-tailored collection by designer Misha Nonoo. Nonoo has been named one of the top new designers to watch by publications including W, Elle and T Magazine, the New York Times style magazine, and already has a celebrity following from Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker and Pippa Middleton, to name a few.
The Tuesday night runway shows will also welcome Tracy Reese, a collection rich with art-inspired prints and beautiful color pallettes, and Plenty by Tracy Reese, a modern, contemporary and effortlessly sexy line that references Reese's bohemian roots.
A member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) since 2000, Reese has severed as a member of the Board of Directors since 2007. She is also a key player in selecting recipients to receive grants from the CFDA’s AIDS-Fund initiatives. Both lines will be hosted by Kendal Boutique and all Tuesday night runway shows will take place at The Pinnacle at Symphony Place starting at 8 p.m.
Additions to the Friday night shows include: designer Lagi Nadeau of Chicago, who is known for utilizing sophisticated, luxurious fabrics and will be hosted by local boutique Jamie, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming-born but Dallas-based designerAbi Ferrin, who was named Texas' Next Top Designer in 2010. They will both show full collections along with previously announced designers Leona and European line, SAND.
Grand Avenue Worldwide (186 N. 1st St) will serve as the location for all Friday night events with shows starting at 7:30 p.m. and an on-site Pop-up Dinner hosted by Chef Rozario, previously at the helm of Rumba's kitchen, will immediately follow the runway shows featuring a special performance by Cody Belew, a Nashville-based soul singer of pop music and finalist on NBC's The Voice. Designer of the line Leona and recipient of the 2012 Nashville Fashion Forward Fund, Lauren Leonard will be the dinner's guest of honor.
Wednesday night's runway shows will feature previously announced designers Kat Seaton, TUFT, Pink Elephant Designs, Black by Maria Silver and headliner T. Rains. Thursday's daytime shows will feature already announced designers Modern Trousseau and Memeka by Gustavo Cadile.
