The just concluded week-long fashion and entertainment revelry L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival featured a series of world-class runway shows presented by the crème de la crème of the country's fashion industry.

Internationally renowned fashion designers like Josh Goot, Bianca Spender, Alice Mccall, Dion Lee and Arthur Galan dazzled the onlookers with their latest clothing collections, highlighting soft floral and luxurious baroque prints as well as wacky animal motifs, at the event.

Designer labels Colette Dinnigan, Carla Zampatti, Maticevski, Scanlan and Theodora, Willow and Akira announced the return of lady-like sophistication with a modern twist through their eclectic lines.

Enriched with exquisite lace, soft luxurious silk, leather, metallic embroidery and embellishments, the designers’ day and evening wear ensembles were based on a neutral palette of black and white with occasional flashes of metallic hues and jewel tones.

A business seminar headed by famous fashion illustrator Bil Donovan and Greek born fashion designer Mary Katrantzou, as well as fashion films, forums, live-entertainment programs and beauty workshops were also conducted on the sidelines of the fashion festival.
