Alexei and Anna Borodulin's devoted their new collection to TRADITIONAL RUSSIAN COSTUME, its development in the modern world to put it more precisely. According to the designers it is the costume that presents a valuable code for studying historical process, development of culture.
As a basis of the "VELEMENT" collection Anna and Alexei Borodulin's have chosen 4 elements of traditional Russian women's costume - shirt, "dushegreya" (sleeveless vest), sarafan and belt. LOVE plays a role of the fifth element. In its broadest sense it is love to the culture, traditions and history of Russia.
Collection features wide folded sleeves dresses, floor-lenght and midi skirts, interpretation of Russian sarafan and "dushegreya" into silhouettes with a new reading, soft basque jackets which is one of the most important element of tradional women's costume, vintage-styled lace inset blouses with delicate hand-trimmed prints.
The collection is also added by woolen breast adornment and author's cuff. The designers decided to make all the sketches manually for futher appliation in materials by means of their favourite laser engraving technique.
All the goods are made of wool, cotton, silk, jersey cloth.
