New emerging fashion talents will be the highlight of the second edition of Manchester Fashion Week (MCRFW), which is going to contribute a considerable fraction of exhibition and catwalk slots only for the up and coming designers this year.

Scheduled to be held from April 22 to 26, 2013, the event will include nearly 30 catwalk shows and around 20 exhibition spaces for fashion and apparel exhibitors.

Popular high-street labels like Forever 21, Ted Baker, Reiss and Next will dominate the first three days of the MCRFW with their latest runway presentations.

However, the fourth day will include the most eagerly awaited part of the event which is entirely dedicated to the work of new and promising independent designers, who will have the privilege to be mentored by Manchester-based designer Nadine Merabi, Black White Denim boutique owner Jo Davies and fashion illustrator Lisa Stannard.

Under the slot New Talent and Education, students from Manchester College and Manchester Metropolitan University as well as recently founded smaller independent labels or apparel makers will showcase their designs.
