Trade fair company Messe München International (MMI) informs that CEMATEX (the European Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association) is making ITMA 2007 more attractive than ever for exhibitors and visitors by adding new products and by extending or reorganising existing exhibition categories.

In addition, a newly hierarchical numbering system will make the ITMA product index more transparent.

Fair Details:
Location - New Munich Trade Fair Centre
Date: September 13 – 20, 2007

CEMATEX has set the course for ensuring that the range of products and services exhibited at ITMA is more oriented to the needs of the textile and clothing industry.

The product index has been expanded to include new products such as RFID systems, and the sector for transport and storage technology will be presented in greater detail. There will also be a new sector for "software systems for knowledge management, production management and supply-chain management".

In all sectors, textile machines that used to be included under 'Other...' are now listed separately. Examples include circular knitting machines for seamless items and foreign fibre/part separators for spinning preparation. This should also help visitors and exhibitors to locate one another more quickly.

Discussions with textile companies have revealed that expectations regarding the range of accessories and spare parts are as high as ever. With this in mind, this sector has been restructured to provide greater depth. For example, online measuring and testing systems for the various sectors are now listed separately.
